Create Your Own Blog Videos With Ease
I am sure you have seen some great videos online and have wondered how you could make something similar or maybe even better. With the easy online video creation options for your blog, I am going to show you, there will be nothing holding you back from making a variety of videos for your website or blog.
Today, I am going to show you a few different types of ways to show off your video prowess. We can start with more of the animated explainer video that is put together piece by piece from templates, then we will go into the more professional looking suite that will give you a different option and finally I will challenge you to create your own video for your blog or website
This post contains several videos as I will show an example of each product below.
To find a way to create easy quick explainer videos, look no further than Biteable. Free to sign up and make your own creation. They have a premium payment plan as well but you can do like I did and start Free and still make some great videos.
Here is an example of Biteable in action, this is the screen that lets you input several slides that you can customize to build your presentation. This is one of my Affiliate Marketing videos I made.
They use templates and preloaded snippets of videos to build a fun and quick explainer video or an inspirational choice. You can go many ways when you get in and start creating.
It is actually a bit addicting once you start. You can select from quite a few audio tracks that can be loaded as the main music selection that plays when a user pushes start.
This is the explainer video for Biteable, you can create an even better one fairly easily and for Free.
Here is one I made with Biteable. More of an inspirational choice
Save your work and refer to it again and change them or reuse what you made. Your account comes with storage space for you to load up with the new rage of online video creations that you came up with.
The latest online location to get you into creating something cool is Design Wizard. Traditionally known as a graphic design website, one of my favorites by the way. Design Wizard just launched a new module within their site that lets you create and download your creations.
The editor is fairly straightforward and clean. The catch is that there is a cost of $4.99 for what you create for an entire presentation. A nice perk is that they constantly send credits your way or discounts that get you using the service quite often. This has quickly become my go-to place for graphic design as well as now, quick promotional videos that can help raise brand awareness and also look professional quality.
This is a nice option since you get all the bells and whistles of a top of the line graphic design tool for web banners or social media posts that you customize, and now you have a video maker as well.
The steps are pretty basic and once you understand how it works you will quickly become an internet video master in no time. This is a shot of the main menu, selecting the more sizes icon opens up dozens of more template sizes that can fit your needs.
To create a video just select it from the images in the menu. That will open an entirely new set of templates and preloaded mini videos to use as the base for your presentation. You can also start from a blank canvas as well and upload your own images as a backdrop.
Below is the training video by a design wizard employee explaining how to create your own from scratch
Now it is your turn to make your own video, with ScreenCast O Matic.
This is a much more affordable option than the big expensive digital studio programs out there. How does Free sound? Yes, they allow you to download the software and create videos for Free, there are a couple of pay plans that are very reasonable starting at $15 a year, that provides much more flexibility and control for you and give you multiple options to save your files to and additional features that really help.
The software is of good quality and provides you with the ability to record and edit your new works of art. You can add pre-programmed audio files just like with Biteable or you can also import your own audio. The import option works as well for video files, you can upload your own intro for example, and then edit that into your video.
What will you need? a webcam or built-in camera app on your PC or laptop. I recommend a USB plugin webcam that can record in 1080P digital quality or better. The one I use is $34 on Amazon. Not too bad, I am sure you could find a cheaper option if you look for yourself.
Then you need a microphone, most PC or laptops have them built in so you may not need to do anything. I made several videos using the built-in microphone on my laptop. They do tend to pick up background noise fairly easily so be aware of that. I ended up getting a USB clip-on microphone that works well and provides a bit better quality of a recording.
You do not have to buy a microphone nor a camera to make a good video, I am just explaining one option for you and trying to give you an idea of what it takes to make it all work
The Best way to understand the software is first to download it, then login to your free account and watch some tutorials on the ScreenCast O Matic website. You can also just mess around with the software and in a few minutes, you will understand how it all works. The controls are pretty obvious and very intuitive to use.
What To Record For Your Home Made Video
It really is a great way to connect with your audience when you make your own video. Many people are intimidated by the thought of it and that is normal. The thing is, most folks that read your articles will appreciate the personal connection regardless of the quality. You can certainly record several files before settling on the one you like and edit it to cut out big gaps of dead space or a part you feel you didn’t do as well. Just make sure the video flows well and is understandable.
You have an unlimited amount of things you can record to share with your audience. Mainly you will want to be relevant to your niche and the article you are sharing. Unboxing videos are huge on YouTube, show a product you are promoting by recording how you open the box on delivery and how to use your new item, with clear shots of the item in many angles. These work really well.
An explainer video that shows a product or service and how to sign up or use the product. Walk someone through the process of how to do something you know about. For example, I made this video below about keyword research using the Alphabet soup method with the keyword tool I use.
You could team up with someone and have a second person help you explain a product or service, maybe an industry expert or a friend who has experience with what you are promoting.
You really can go multiple ways with this, a webinar or podcast could be in your future once you get comfortable with the process and get used to being seen and heard by others.
I hope this post was informative for you and helps you understand some options that are available for you. I was curious about all this as well when I started and have made many videos since then. I am not an expert by any means but I enjoy creating a process walkthrough or explaining about a product.
This gives you the ability to add your own opinion and explain why, which makes you seem more authentic in your presentation.
Whatever choice you make based on the information I have provided you, you won’t be sorry. All three of these are good ways to get started and get familiar with the process. The programs I shared with you today are ones I have personally used, so I am able to share with you information based on hands-on experience.
Are you already making videos? what do you use for yours? Please share your experiences in the comments below. It would be nice to meet you. My readers can learn from you, so feel free to share
Thank you for your time
